Interview: Cristiano Ronaldo with Judite de Sousa - Part 1
Judite de Sousa is a well known TV journalist in Portugal. Part 2 of this 2014 interview is also posted on YouTube.

Carminho e Pablo Alboran
A popular Portuguese fadista and Spanish singer doing a beautiful duet.

Cante Alentejana
Traditional "cante" singing from the Alentejo with a modern twist: electric guitar.

The New Portuguese Table is David Leite's award-winning cookbook. There are some very nice reviews of David's book on the web including these from Gluten Free Girl and Foodie Mommie. David took Portuguese lessons with Cristina both online from his home in the USA and in-person while living in Lisbon doing research for his book. Besides having an award-winning cookbook he also has an award-winning website, Leite's Culinaria, with links to his witty (and award-winning) articles.

In the photo above, Cristina and David are seated at Antiga Confeitaria de Belém, (also know as Pastéis de Belém), considered to have the best Pastéis de Nata, or  Portuguese custard tarts. On his website David has an article and a recipe for these traditional confections.

Ingrediente Secreto is the cooking show of Henrique Sá Pessoa, one of  Portugal's top young chefs and the owner of the Lisbon restaurant Alma. Each program demonstrates recipes with the day's "secret ingredient".  His YouTube channel consists of clips of individual recipes from the program. His cooking has a contemporary twist, like this Sanduíche de Bacalhau com Grão, but there are traditional recipes too, like Açorda Alentejana com Pescada, (recipe starts at minute 2:00 in the video). Watching his programs are a great way to practice your Portuguese cooking and language skills at the same time!
