My Dream

I started teaching European Portuguese classes online because it has been my dream to expand the awareness of my homeland.  Is there a better way than through its language? Although small in size, Portugal is big in tradition and it is my aspiration to spread the knowledge of its language, history, and culture.

Portugal, located in the southwest corner of Europe, is beautiful and full of light. Here the sun shines like nowhere else in the world. Its people are gentle and down-to-earth. They are also a bit sad and nostalgic, remembering the parents, sons and daughters who left for the four corners of the world, looking for a different way of life, trying for a better way of living.

When a Portuguese person leaves their country, a part of their heart and soul stays in Portugal. No matter where they are, they fight to keep close to them the things that remind them of their homeland. 

So it is my aim is to bring to the descendants of those who left Portugal, the knowledge of the language, art and culture of a country with so many traditions.

It is also my desire to spread this knowledge to the peoples that welcomed the Portuguese. They might also like to know why the Portuguese are so fond of their country.
